So yesterday was day 1, and here goes day 2, hope you enjoy...
Category is golden oldies:
The great thing about Glastonbury is that they have such a diverse lineup; the perfect mixture of older acts from the 80's and the likes, and new acts just emerging. One of those 80's acts, that were incredible on the pyramid stage, were The Waterboys.
It has been around 35 years since their original formation and the amazing thing is that they still sound relatively the same! Their original mixture of Celtic folk music mixed with rock and roll still makes their sound one of the most unique around, and really resonates in a festival setting.
The Waterboys have had 10 albums since the 80's, so I'm pretty sure that their set list was hard to decide on, however they somehow managed to create the perfect set with a good mixture of classic songs from all 10 albums. Of course there was even those iconic violin and guitar solos that really just make The Waterboys the band that they were and still are.
The thing that greatly impressed me, and made me fall a little bit in love with them, was their impeccable dress sense. Each member wore an outfit straight from the decade they were from. I'm talking studded jeans, neckerchiefs, suede jackets, and even a pin stripped suite. I mean really what more could you ask for from a good old golden oldie?
The perfect set list, with amazing outfits, really just made their set something for the younger musicians at Glastonbury to aspire to.

Category is my new found act:
Will Joseph Cook is my new found act for Saturday's Glastonbury. I don't actually know that much about him to be honest because there isn't that much information about him, but I can already tell he will be amazing. His performance on the BBC introducing stage was probably one of the best I have heard all weekend coming from that stage. Similarly to other breakthrough artists recently, he plays the guitar, and has that summery, really chill, and generally laid back vibe to his songs. His song message is definitely one to youtube, and while you are there you may as well just listen to a bunch of his songs, because he is amazing.
If you like artists such as Ben Howard and Lewis Watson, than you will definitely love Will Joseph Cook.

Category is my top 3:
So like yesterdays post I have decided to do my top 3 acts from all of the stages at Glastonbury for day 2, so here goes...
My first act in my top 3 is George Ezra. I would say that Ezra is another one, like James Bay, who since being involved with BBC introducing has become incredibly successful. He was on BBC introducing in 2014, but in the past year he has sky rocketed to fame, and is now a world famous artist.
His happy, summery, upbeat tunes are perfect for festival season, as they provide the perfect accompany to the ol bob and sway movement (a right good move for any gig). Plus his voice is just amazing, am I right? That deep tone that can be recogonised from a mile away just makes anything that comes out of his mouth sound like sweetness. So all in all a 10/10 booking for the Glasto organisers.

My second act for the top 3 is Mr Ben Howard. Like Ezra he was the perfect booking for Glastonbury, but in a different way. Ben Howard is the perfect artist for when you are at a festival, feeling a little bit tired from all the heavy music (like the rock and dance), might be a bit hot, and you just want a nice calm set to chill to. Well Ben Howard is the answer. When the sun is up, and he's playing that beautiful instrument that is the guitar, and his voice is just on point, life cannot get any better! He played the perfect mix of songs from both of his albums, which meant keep your head up, and I forgot where we were made an appearance!!! Basically the ideal set for a Saturday afternoon.

My final act for my top 3 has got to be my new favourite band, Slaves. The absolute perfect definition of British music. Slaves are probably the only recent punk band that has either not been shit, or not actually been punk (sorry 5sos you can say your punk all you want be we all know that you aren't). Their mixture of story anecdotes and amazing song topics just make them the most loveable band of 2015. I mean they wrote a song about big foot ffs, how can you not love this band?! They are perfect for just completely going crazy to, and the fact that it is literally two men on stage, with a drum and a guitar, is incredible. They make so much noise! To be honest I think that British music has lost sight of what it is in recent days, and we have become American and pop, and not what we were and always should be. But with the introduction of Slaves, and so a decent punk band, maybe we can find our way back. It's up to you slaves...

Category is Headliner:
I wasn't really that thrilled when I found out that the Saturday night headliner would be Kanye West because I have never really been that big of a fan of his. Or so I thought. When I really started to look at it, Kanye has had some bloody good tunes. When you think of all the songs hes done with other artists and stuff like that I mean there has to be at least one that everyone likes! Plus after watching his performance he really is a performer, made for performing to big crowds. His painter couture, mixed with his amazing stage design, which consisted of a smoke machine and dark lighting to make it look like he was some sort of shadow, was really quite simple. The thing was though that his stage presences and crowd interaction was what made his performance. Granted he is arrogant, and thinks he is a rock star when he really isn't, but I do not count myself as a massive rap or Kanye West fan, however I really did enjoy his performance. Maybe it's just something you should watch and decide for yourself...

So there you have it the second day of Glastonbury round up for you! I hope you enjoyed, and I will link the BBC Glasto website again for you so you can check out all the Glastonbury performances from the whole weekend: http://www.bbc.co.uk/events/e84mxj
