Movies for days

So, I didn’t really know what to write for my blog post this week so I thought that I would write something simple. Here are the last 3 movies I have watched over the past week, and ones that I definitely recommend that you should watch…
The Riot Club:
This is one of those films I have been meaning to watch for a while now. I remember hearing the interview that Sam Claflin and Dougie Booth did on Radio 1 when the film first came out, and I’ve wanted to watch it since then. So I finally did, and it was such a great decision. It basically follows a bunch of posh boys at Oxford who are complete twats and think they are untouchable because of their wealth. All the boys are complete dicks, but seriously they are hot dicks. Sam Claflin and Douglas Booth are sort of the main two along with Max Irons (all 10/10), but Olly Alexander also makes a sneaky appearance. Probably best known for being the front man of recent band Years&Years, Olly Alexander is actually a really good actor, and is also V attractive. But like I said it’s not all about the good looking twats, it’s actually a very political, yet enjoyable, movie, which I definitely recommend.

Plastic:
This was a movie I was a little bit sceptical about. I sort of already knew what the plot was a little bit and didn’t really know if it was for me; I was wrong because I was pleasantly surprised. This one is basically about a bunch of teenagers who commit credit card fraud and get into shit- that’s why I didn’t know if I would like it, I thought it sounded a little boring. However it was actually so good and quite funny. It features Will Poulter who is one of the rising stars of recent, along with a bunch of other young stars. Seriously though sort of need to go out and steal some credit cards of my own if I want anything close to the things those teens had; I’m talking gadgets, jewels, and clothes.

Weekenders:
Weekenders is really a Skins movie. If you enjoyed the UK TV series Skins, I can pretty much guarantee you will love Weekenders. It does have Jack O’Connell (who played Cook in Skins) as the main lad in it, so take from that about the film what you want. But anyway I, as a Skins lover, adored the film. It’s based around the underground rave scene of the 90’s and basically Jack and his mate get in trouble and have to get their way out of it. I know I’m really not making it sound that riveting, but seriously I really think you should watch it!!!!

I know this post was probably not my best but hopefully next weeks will be better. At least it’s on time this week!!!
