Things to look forward to in October

So I thought because I have done two quite large blog posts about my university escapades I would write sort of a more fun and easy reading post this week. So here are some things that you can look forward to in October…
Halloween: Let’s start with the most obvious one shall we? Of course October is the month of Halloween which means PARTY! Halloween is a great time of year to get dressed up and be creative with you outfit choice (not just doing the typical cat and superhero look; come on guys) and going out with your friends to have some fun and get drunk. Plus you don’t really have to care about your makeup being on point because I mean is your makeup actually supposed to be on point on Halloween?! I’m just saying I am thoroughly looking forward to going out and looking like an absolute mess this year and for once not even caring!
Autumn: If you are anything like me you will love the whole idea of autumn. It gets colder, which means getting out those big cuddly jumpers, being able to put the heating on, and cracking out them hot chocolates with all the trimmings of whipped cream and marshmallows. I especially love those Sundays when it’s raining and you can hear it on the window, and you decide to just forget about all your work for the day, get into bed or into some comfy clothes, and just watch films all day and drink tea. I am looking forward to those days the most, as well as walking through woods and fields watching the leaves change colours. Autumns just a really beautiful season I guess.
New music: Okay so as you are all probably aware I am massively into music, and as my first blog post suggested The 1975. The incredible band that is The 1975 are set to release their new single on Thursday 8th October which will introduce their new album to fans across the world when it is played as Annie Macs hottest record. Literally words cannot describe how happy I am right now to think of their new music in 3 days’ time. I am probably more excited for this than I am for getting out my jumpers- and I am very excited to get my jumpers out!!
