Week Two- Stop the Deprivation

Weight Update: Since this is my post for the week on my fitness journey it’s only right that, after a little over a week of my diet, I update you on my weight. This week I've lost 3 pounds!!! I’m incredibly happy with this result and can only work harder to achieve the same result this week.
It’s actually my weight loss that has prompted this post- I feel like some truths have to be told. The thing I find with dieting is that working hard, exercising, and eating healthy is of course the way to go- we all know this!!! BUT STOP DEPRIVING YOURSELF!!!!
There is nothing worse than being on a diet, thinking everything’s going just swimmingly, then BAM- a big old chocolate craving comes your way and hits you right in the stomach. Trust me, I know it, and you know it, it’s seriously no fun. So what can you do to stop these cravings but stick to your diet? EAT THE FUCKING CHOCOLATE!
I know it sound crazy being on a diet but allowing yourself some chocolate, but hear me out. As long as you are exercising hard and eating healthy than a little bit of chocolate IN MODERATION is not going to hurt you.
Don’t get me wrong there is no way on God’s not so green earth that you can lose weight running on a treadmill for 30 minutes and then eating a family sized Galaxy bar, but you can if that family size is just a normal sized bar once a week. There is no need for you to deprive yourself of the good things in life or it will drive you insane and make you cave quicker. It’s been my problem in the past (well part of it!).
If you don’t believe me here’s some pictures of my treat this week. I went a little bit overboard and went full out on a three course Prezzo’s! Don’t worry though I know that the gym is most definitely calling harder this week as a result!
