Weight Update: I am proud to say that I have lost another 2 pounds this week. That means that this month, so far, I’ve lost 6 pounds!!! I’m aiming to lose 7 pounds a month so every 2 months I can lose a stone- things are looking good for this month.
This week I wanted to talk about the importance of water when trying to stay healthy- so here’s some facts about it…
There is no such thing as water weight- ‘water weight’ is nothing but a myth. You can’t gain weight by drinking water because it’s absorbed by the body and used to keep you healthy- there’s no way it can do all the work and make you gain weight.
You need water to stay hydrated, especially when exercising- It’s no secret that water will keep you hydrated (duh) but you need to remember, especially when exercising, that you need to keep hydrated so that you can be your best.
Water keeps your body temperature level- When exercising it’s essential to keep your body temperature cool, so drinking water will help you to do this, meaning all your attention can go on burning those calories.
It flushes the toxins from your body- After a hard day there’s bound to be a few toxins floating around your body, but drinking water will help flush them out and get you feeling refreshed and fine.
It will give you the will to go on- Water has this refreshing quality that will give you renewed energy to carry on in your day. If you ever need a boost, just have a cup of that magic juice (water).
So I hope that you’ve enjoyed this post, and I will have another fitness post for you next week.
