What have I been watching on Netflix??

So with it being the Easter holidays I’ve had a lot more time to catch up on Netflix- maybe even sometimes for an unhealthy amount of time! But here are the most recent things I’ve been watching on Netflix recently…

Brooklyn nine-nine: You gotta love a bit of Andy Samberg. I absolutely fell in love with Brooklyn nine-nine after desperately searching for the perfect hangover TV show and, luckily, stumbling upon this hilarious cop show. It follows the lives of the Brooklyn cop team as they work on cases as well as on their social lives, creating the funniest police show that has ever graced my computer screen. If you love comedic characters with a hilarious on-screen bond then you will definitely love this show!!

Movie 43: This movie will certainly not be to everyone’s liking, but I

hope a few of you might enjoy it. The whole film feels like you’re on a massive drug trip because the plot isn’t very easy to follow, but it basically is a serious of short films that are shown to give a computer that belongs to a little boy a virus. I know it sounds ridiculous but it has a dream cast- Kate Winslet, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Emma Stone, and so many more great actors I just can’t remember at this moment in time. If you like weird films than basically this is perfect for you.

Love: Back to TV shows and Love is one of Netflix’s newest original TV shows. It’s an indie rom com that follows Gus and Mickey, two people in their 30’s, as they struggle with the concept of love and how it fits into their lives, while eventually falling in love with one another. It’s a thought provoking series that goes beyond your usual teenage 90210 drama as it feels more real with the use of older characters. If you are looking for a new show to watch I would definitely recommend love.

Saving Mr Banks: Here is a film to really tug at those heart strings

you thought you’d cut out. It’s a heart-warming, emotional roller coaster of a film that will really get those tear ducts working. Based off the relationship between Mary Poppins writer P.L Travers and Walt Disney as he was trying to win the rights to her novel, the origin of this well-loved story is learnt. You will fall completely in love with the mysterious author behind the nanny we all wished we had, and with Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks playing the lead roles you can’t really go wrong can you?!

Frozen: Well it’s pretty much a Disney classic now isn’t it. Probably the best new film to enter into the Netflix-sphere Frozen is a cracking edition to a catalogue of loved Disney films. We all know the story of the ice queen and her sister so there is really no need for me to explain. But no matter how many times I watch it the cheesy songs and loving relationships between the characters still cause me joy as well as tears. If you haven’t watched it already than firstly where have you been the past couple of years? And secondly… GET ONTO NETFLIX NOW!!
