Soap & Glory haul part 1

So I suffer with my skin quite a lot- my face is oily and I often break out, but my legs are dry and don’t exactly have that celebrity inspired smooth look to them. But I could never really find products that would benefit my difficult skin, as well as be cost effective, and something that was easy to use regularly. I had heard rave reviews about Soap & Glory, so now starts my shopping haul posts where I will tell you each week about a Soap & Glory product that has either helped or hindered my skin. So here’s part one…

Let’s begin with Glad Hair Day. This accurately named shampoo is most probably one of my favourite products as it does exactly what it says. On the front of the bottle is the promise that this shampoo can gloss, smooth, repair, and strengthen any hair type, and they definitely fulfil these promises. I have quite thick hair that I’m currently in the process of growing out. My hair can also get quite greasy (probably because of my oily skin) which means that I have to wash my hair pretty much every day. NOT ANY MORE! With this shampoo my hair is left feeling soft and smooth all day long on the day of washing, and it remains this way for the whole next day. It’s a bloody miracle.

Not only does this product leave you hair looking and feeling great for two days, it also smells amazing. With it including raspberry fruit vinegar this miracle shampoo has a fruity smell that will last just as long as the shine it gives. My hair has never smelt and looked so fresh.

There are a few downsides to this product though. For a start because it makes my hair so glossy and soft it does make it hard for me to put up and put Kirby grips in my barnett, so I would recommend just leaving it down if you plan on using this shampoo. Also, although the bottle is 250 ml, it can go down quite quickly, and at £5.50 a tube can you really afford it? So all I would say is don’t excessively use it, a small squirt will go a long way (*insert winky face*).

So all in all a stellar product from Soap & Glory here which will leave any type of hair feeling soft, smooth, and smelling fresh. Give your barnett a re-vamp, and have a glad hair day.
