So I’ve just come home from my Paris holiday (so much fun!!!) and have loads of holiday blog posts lined up for you so watch out for them. But today I thought I’d start with my Paris summer style- all the outfits I wore while I was away and exploring the most beautiful city I’ve visited in my life.
Sunday 7th August 2016 (traveling day)

I haven’t actually got a picture of me wearing my traveling outfit just because I was pre-occupied thinking about travelling and the such. So to travel I knew I wanted to wear something comfortable for rushing about the airport, as well as something airy and light due to the recent hot weather in the UK and Paris. I decided on this simple grey A-line dress from H & M’s Basics line, which I absolutely adore because it basically does everything I wanted- it’s light, comfortable, and gives plenty of space to move. I paired this with a basic pair of flat cream skater style trainers, which you can see me wearing in the majority of my outfits, and wore constantly simply for comfort. My dress was an absolute bargain at £12.99 and definitely something I will be wearing again on those chill days where you just want some comfort.
Monday 8th August 2016 (Disney day)
This was the most magical day of my life (duh) and somewhere I will

definitely be visiting again. I knew, much like when traveling, that I needed a comfortable outfit that would allow me to walk around the two Disney parks without causing me any clothing pain. So I decided on a standard pair of denim shorts from H and M (£12.99) and a light pink slogan T-shirt from Primark (£2). This simple outfit was ideal for Disneyland as it kept me at the perfect temperature for the whole day, and was ideal for going on all the rides- no skirts please. But the real god sent was my shoes- the skater trainers from my travel day outfit. I got these from New Look for £14.99 and couldn’t be any happier with them. They are SO comfortable and allowed me to walk around all day without any foot pain at all! If you’re looking for an outfit to go to Disneyland in I strongly suggest something simple like this, and a pair of these New Look slip-on trainers are a must.
Tuesday 9th August 2016 (Designer village)

After Disney we were pretty knackered and needed a chill day before tackling the gorgeous city that is Paris. Our hotel, ‘l'Elysee’, was perfectly located right across the road from the huge Val d'Europe shopping centre, which led to the designer La Vallée Village and provided the perfect opportunity for us to splash the cash and buy ourselves some well-deserved designer treats. I decided to wear a skirt for this trip just to feel a bit more class than just ‘comfortable’. I went for this knee length floral skirt which I bought from New Look a while back, and paired with the same style top I wore to Disney but in white, and a pair of tan £5.99 dolly shoes from New Look- an essential pair for anyone’s wardrobe. The great thing about this skirt is that it goes in at the waist, defining it, and then flows out around the hips and to the knee, meaning it hides any unfortunate food babies and keeps you looking slim-line- genius for any food-lovers like me. This outfit was comfortable and easy to put together while still remaining stylish and Paris chic.
Wednesday 10th August 2016 (Paris city)
So this was the day I was greatly anticipating- going to one of the

fashion capitals of the world. This outfit was arguably one of my favourites as it was the perfect mix of summer fashion and comfort. I began with a T-shirt from H and M which I got in the sale for £4 (bargain) and absolutely fell in love with the moment I put it on due to the high neck, which has been in style for a while now, and the soft material which felt AMAZING against my skin. I paired this with some floral shorts, also from H & M at £7.99, and my staple New Look slip on’s. The weather was slightly more over- cast than it previously had been and I decided to break out my (surprise surprise) H & M black kimono which was £15.99, just to give me an extra layer. I absolutely adored this outfit and felt summer in Paris ready wearing it. The mixture of natural tones in the top and shorts, mixed with splashes of blue, and topped off with the black kimono really made this outfit pop for me and was my favourite of the whole trip.
Thursday 11th August 2016 (Going home)
So like with traveling to Paris I didn’t take a picture of my outfit coming home (sorry again) but I decided to wear a culottes’ jumpsuit to travel home in for the same reasons I wore my travel dress- it’s comfortable, airy, and easy to move in. The strappy style of the suit gives it a summer feel, making it feel like I wasn’t leaving my holiday self behind at all. The waist tie is also a great feature as it allows you to nip in your waist while the culottes give you extra leg room, and a sense of comfort. These were an absolute bargain from T.K Maxx at £7.99 and provided me with a super comfortable outfit that almost made up for the disappointment that was flying home to England.
So there are my Parisian holiday outfits. Leave a comment on which outfit was your favourite, and tell me what outfits you’ve been wearing this summer.
